• This is an orginal US poster for the first release of Goldfinger in the US. Perhaps the most memorable scene in the movie Goldfinger is the character Dink being found dead and completely painted in gold. This image is central to the both UK quad posters and this US poster. The US poster relies heavily on taglines while also featuring an image of Bond in a passionate (and recently controversial) encounter with the memorable Bond girl Pussy Galore played by Honor Blackman.
  • This is an original poster for the 1985 James Bond 007: A View To A Kill. Global landmarks feature prominently in A View to a Kill. This is an original poster for the release of You Only Live Twice in the USA. Three styles were produced to promote the release of 'You Only Live Twice' in both Britain and the US. Of the three styles the Style C (Bath Scene) picture is the most popular. The picture has many subtle signs of the year the poster was produced. The image is deliberately risque, reflecting the new 1960s mood of sexual liberation. The tagline emphasises that Sean Connery is the one and only James Bond, perhaps a veiled put-down of Casino Royal, the Bond spoof released that year. The artwork is unmistakably Robert McGinnis while the great children's author and 'Tales of the Unexpected' creator Roald Dahl wrote the screenplay and is named in the poster's credits.

This is an original US One Sheet Poster for Diamonds are Forever.  With George Lazenby having played the role last time, Bond is immediately recognisable as Sean Connery,  surrounded by two female characters holding handfuls of diamonds. All 3 are positioned on the arm of a space buggy that Bond hijacks in the film. Blofeld's diamond satellite superweapon and oil rig lair feature in the background. Instead of a tagline as used in previous Bond posters, the "Forever" in the poster is repeated. This poster is in beautiful folded condition with no colour loss along the folds let alone cracking. The artwork by Robert McGinnis works particularly well with the portrait format of this poster. It was to be Sean Connery's last appearance in an Eon-produced James Bond film. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.

This is a guaranteed original One Sheet poster for the US release of the film The Spy Who Loved. Having been 3 years since the previous Bond movie this poster has a new artist in Robert 'Bob' Peak. The artwork has a decidedly darker and mysterious tone than previous Bond campaigns. Anya Amasova the Russian agent, Bond teams up with, has an almost equal emphasis in the poster. The artwork features beneath the sea action and the hold of the villain Stomberg's ship which is being used to conceal hijacked US and Soviet submarines. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.

This is an Original US One Sheet Poster for the first release of the film Withnail and I. This classic British comedy-drama stars Richard E. Grant and Paul McCann who play two out-of-work actors living in squalid conditions in London. Totally broke they travel to the English countryside to spend a week with their uncle. Between torrential rain and run-ins with the locals, chaos ensues. The gonzo artwork of Ralph Steadman works brilliantly for this poster which was used for the first release of the film in US cinemas. Unusually this poster has never been folded and is in excellent condition.

This is an original One Sheet Cinema poster for a 1982 re-release of 'The Empire Strikes Back'. This is a particularly rare version of the poster as it features what Star Wars enthusiasts refer to as a teal background (the widely distributed version has a purple background). It was likely printed in as part of a test print run but never distributed to cinemas . Finger in the air, there is probably around a hundred of them in circulation. In truth the exact history of this poster is unknown. The design by Tom features? Darth Vadar, Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and Yoda (in one of his first appearances in an official Star Wars poster).

  • This is an original style D poster for the film Star Wars. It is widely known as the Circus Poster and on the request of George Lucas George Lucas features ?Luke and Leah? swinging on a rope. Charles White produced the sketch and airbrush sections of the poster while Drew Struzan painted the portraits with oil. After carefully producing the painting you see on the 'postage stamp', the realised they had left no space for the credits and came up with the solution to paint the Obi Wan Kinobi on the right-hand side thus creating the scale required for the credits at the bottom. The first printing of the poster was done in the summer of 1978. (The film was so popular that it had continued to run in cinemas since its release in 1977.) The poster was commissioned to be re-printed in 1992 but this version is from 1978 print run. It is linen backed and in outstanding condition which can be best assessed in the third unframed image.

This is an original, linen-backed US One Sheet poster for The Godfather, considered by many to be the greatest film of all time. The film tells the story of the Corleone family, one of the most established crime families in New York City. Marlon Brando famously plays the role of Vito Don Corleone, while Al Pacino plays his son Michael Pacino. Don Corleone's refusal to involve the family in the drug trade leads his rivals to view the family as past the peak of their powers and it leads the Corleone family to come under attack. This minimal US One Sheet poster is from the film's first release and includes the cast names and the classic Godfather image of the puppeteer pulling strings. The fanfare the film was released to enabled the use of this minimal design, and style has been emulated many times in the past 50 years, not least by the television show 'The Sopranos'. This poster is in very fine condition and the 3rd unframed image is HD and enables the best condition assessment.
  • This is an Original US One Sheet Poster for the first release of the 1958 film Veritgo. Vertigo was the first Alfred Hitchcock film for which Saul Bass produced a film poster and this image has gone on to become one of the most famous pictures in movie history. The poster is synonymous with the film, they are almost one and the same. The poster uses a spiral, a symbol which can be seen throughout the film. The spiral is a visual representation of obsession, the core theme of the film. Obsession is powered by repetition, an action the spiral also represents. Scenes in the film are repeated to capture obsession. James Stewart plays Fergie, a retired detective, who suffers from acrophobia (a fear of heights) and vertigo. He takes on a job to investigate a friend's wife - Madeline, who is displaying strange behaviour. Fergie becomes obsessed with Madeline and the story unfolds. This first‑release Vertigo One Sheet is exceptionally hard to source, and this example presents beautifully. The reds — notoriously the first colour to fade on vintage posters — remain rich and vibrant, with no drift toward orange. The paper shows a gentle, natural warm tone when compared with the white of the linen backing, entirely consistent with a well‑preserved piece approaching its 70th year. The poster was professionally linen‑backed prior to my acquisition, and light, sympathetic retouching was carried out along the fold lines, most noticeably on the lower vertical fold. The close‑up photographs provide a clear view of these areas and allow for a detailed assessment. Overall, this is a striking, well‑preserved example of an increasingly scarce poster, and it will display superbly once framed.

The film created persona’s for the band that endured. John Lennon was the smart one, McCartney the cute one, Harrison the quiet one and Ringo the lucky one. A ‘Hard Days Night’ was re-released in 1999 and this poster was used to promote the release at the time. It uses the original US poster style showing headshots of the band members. The acutal poster avaialable to purchase can be seen in the third unframed image. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. • This an original one sheet movie poster for the 80s comedy classic - Coming to America. Few movies capture the comic genius of Eddie Murphy better than 'Coming to America'. Murphy plays 4 different characters in the movie including the lead role of prince Akeem Joffer. Prince Joffer, the crown prince of a fictional African nation, travels to America in the hope of finding his princess. The streets of Queens in New York City are a far Cry from the life the prince previously led. This of course is the basis for much of the comedy in the movie. This is an original poster from the first release of the movie in the US. The artwork by Drew Struzan shows Murphy in giant form standing on a red carpet rolled down Park Avenue in Manhattan. This is the classic image for the movie which will be very familiar to anyone that was alive in the 80s. The poster is in fine folded condition. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.
  • This documentary was filmed at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey during the bands 1981 North American tour. This poster is a hugely colourful affair and features the band members in typical Stones poses. The poster has lost some colour along the folds and could probably do with some restoration which we would happily help with. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.
