Batman first appeared on the silver screen in 1996 and the caped crusader was of course played by Adam West. Since then, many famous actors including Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, and Robert Pattinson have played the character in movies that have also produced some memorable cinema posters. The poster design in the first film was very much based on the look of the TV series. The 1989 film with Michael Keaton saw a completely new branding and a poster with a slick new logo. Many brilliant posters were produced for the Christopher Nolan trilogy of films, but the posters which feature Heath Ledgers Joker are particularly memorable.
