Doug Bradley plays the leader of the Cenobites a character identified as Pinhead in the later films. The cenobites are a group of sadomasochists that are summoned by a mystical puzzle box. Both lauded and loathed by critics, Melody Maker called this the greatest horror film made in Britain. There is no argument, however, that Barker produced a truly iconic character in Pinhead. Sean Connery starred in his final outing in Never Say Never Again however it was Octopussy which won at the Box Office.
