**This image has been trimmed and is 39.5 x 27.5 inches instead of the normal 40 x 30 inches. There is also a tear in the top border that can be seen. However all the artwork reamins in tact. Timothy Dalton brought a rugged grittiness to the Bond character in a similar way as Daniel Craig did almost 20 years later. This version of the poster was printed by Toho Co., Ltd., a Japanese film, theatre production and distribution company. Unusually for a poster on our website it was originally printed for sale during the original screenings of the Empire Strikes Back in Japan. However, because this poster was commissioned, or printed with the permission of the studio it is considered an original.
