This documentary captures Elvis Presley on his 1972 American tour and includes rehearsals, interviews, archival television appearances and backstage moments. This is an original UK Quad poster for the first release of Enter the Dragon. The movie stars Bruce Lee in his biggest budget and final film before his untimely death at the age of 32. The film had huge success and created an international audience for other films such as the 36 Chambers of Shaolin (1978). For this reason Enter the Dragon is the most well-known an important film of the genre. The poster features Lee to the left holding a set of nunchucks with film title on the right and a hugely popular yellow background. The American Supporting cast reflects Warner Brothers' plan to hedge their bet on the film by appealing to a Western audience. Prior to the film, Hong Kong had been the main production base for martial arts films. This is an original cinema poster for the film Get Carter. This item will be on display in the Saatchi Gallery, London as part of their 2025 ‘Flowers – Flora in Contemporary Art and Culture’ exhibition which opens in February 2025. It will be delivered framed after the exhibition finishes in May 2025. Michael Caine, in one of his iconic roles, plays London gangster Jack Carter who travels north to his hometown of Newcastle to avenge the death of his brother. Arnaldo Putzu produced the stunning artwork for this poster. Its not 100% clear why the artist painted a floral pattern on the actors suit jacket. Perhaps it was an ironic nod to the swinging 60's. In any case, it delivers making this one of the great British film posters from the last 60 years. The poster is linen backed in excellent condition. -
This is an original cinema poster for the film Get Carter. It was printed in 2022 to mark a British Film Industry re-release of the film. These BFI posters have been notable in recent years for how striking and strong the images have been. They are rare and people come to us requesting us to source another copy after they have sold. This one does have some damage in the bottom left but the worst of it could be covered if framed. Hotter than Bond. Cooler than Bullitt. It takes a serious character to take on 2 crime mobs but suave detective 'Shaft' (played by Richard Roundtree) is that man. The film is famous for many reasons, not least because it is a top-quality detective drama. The soundtrack by Isaac Hayes won an Oscar and the film could have won Best Picture also. This is a UK poster from the films first release in 1971. The 3rd unframed image is the actual poster available for sale. -
This is an original style D poster for the film Star Wars. It is widely known as the Circus Poster and on the request of George Lucas George Lucas features ?Luke and Leah? swinging on a rope. Charles White produced the sketch and airbrush sections of the poster while Drew Struzan painted the portraits with oil. After carefully producing the painting you see on the 'postage stamp', the realised they had left no space for the credits and came up with the solution to paint the Obi Wan Kinobi on the right-hand side thus creating the scale required for the credits at the bottom. The first printing of the poster was done in the summer of 1978. (The film was so popular that it had continued to run in cinemas since its release in 1977.) The poster was commissioned to be re-printed in 1992 but this version is from 1978 print run. It is linen backed and in outstanding condition which can be best assessed in the third unframed image. -
This is an original Star Wars Style A One sheet poster. The design, and artwork, was produced by Tom Jung. Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2 and C-3PO all feature on the poster. A large image of Darth Vader's helmet looms in the background, a design that was used in many subsequent posters for the franchise. A white streak across the top of Luke's lightsaber forms a cross. Jung explained this as representing the forces of good against evil. Star Wars was so popular in US Cinemas that four distinct prints runs of this poster were created for the first release of the film. This is from the 3rd print run which can be distinguished by the NSS number of "77/21" with "Star Wars" written under it and ''one sheet - style 'A' printed to the left of this. This is an original Star Wars Style C US One sheet poster. This is a special poster, hugely rare and coveted. The multi coloured strip that can be seen on along the side makes this one extra special as it shows it to be a printers proof. The 3rd unframed image is a HD image that enable best inspection. The coloured bar is used to enable printers to revise and perfect the posters they print using the offset lithography method. 99.9% of the time the proof is chopped from the posters before circulating them in the cinemas. Old proofs are often re-discovered in printing presses years later as is the case with this poster which has come directly from the printer. The design, and artwork for the poster, was produced by Tom Chantrell. It was originally commissioned for the UK release of the film but George Lucas liked it so much it was also used for US cinemas. This poster is from the film's first UK release and it has been beautifully linen-backed to remove the fold lines. -

This is an original Polish poster in near mint condition for the release of the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. This poster was printed to promote the release of the film in Poland in 1973 hence the date on the title. Originals of this iconic image are highly collectible and this copy is particularly special as it was never folded and is in near mint condition. Polish cinema posters are an art movement in their own right and this may be the most collectible image of the entire movement. The artwork was produced by Waldemar Swierzy and it shows a man with rosy red lips whose face has been covered by a huge blue cowboy hat. Like many Polish cinema posters of the era, there is an almost intimidating aspect to the picture. The film itself is loved by critics and audiences alike and it won the academy award for Best Picture in 1970. It tells the story of two friends trying to survive on the streets of New York City. This is an original UK quad cinema poster for the film Moonraker. Having previously seen Bond in diving gear, skiing gear, and of course his trademark tux, the Moonraker poster sees Bonds wearing a spacesuit. Moonraker was thought by many to be the franchise's answer to the 'Star Wars' phenomenon gripping the world in the late 70s. There is an almost 3D quality to this poster in which friend/foe Jaws and the Bond girl Holy Goodhead feature prominently. Let It Be is a documentary filled with poignancy as it was shot in the 4 weeks before the Beatles broke up. The bands' last ever performance on a rooftop in Saville Row in London took place during the filming. The film features a heated studio argument between McCartney and George Harrison and Yoko Ono is ever-present. The US and UK posters are exactly the same in style and feature squared photos of the band members against a black background with 'The Beatles' and 'Let it Be' in yellow writing. This stunning poster is 41 x 81 inches and the detail and condition can be best examined in the 3rd cropped image. It is in pristine near mint condition and comes folded in two parts, with no loss of colour along the fold line. We can arrange to get this linen-backed so that the folds are removed and the poster is combined and backed onto one large sheet of linen. The process will also help to conserve this valuable item. Godfather 2 is widely considered the greatest film sequel of all time. Two storylines run through the film, Vito Corleone's (Robert De Niro) arrival in the United States in 1901 and Michael Corleone's (Al Pacino) attempt to expand the family business in the late 1950s. The earlier scenes are set in New York City while the later scenes are filmed at the Corleone family home in Lake Tahoe and a pre-Communist Cuba. This US One Sheet poster is from the films first release and includes the classic Godfather image of the puppeteer pulling strings. The font style has been widely copied by 'The Sopranos' and 'Snoop Dog' amongst others. The folder is in very fine folded condition. Bond is immediately recognisable as Sean Connery, again surrounded by two impossibly beautiful women holding handfuls of diamonds. All 3 sit on the arm of a space buggy which Bond hijacks in the film. Blofelds diamond satellite superweapon and oil rig lair feature in the background. Instead of a tagline as used in previous Bond posters the "Forever" in the poster is repeated. There may not be a more memorable Bond theme tune that Shirley Bassey's track for this movie. This poster is in beautiful linen backed condition. -

Written and starring Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa an amateur boxer and money collector from Philadelphia that through sheer luck gets an opportunity to fight for the world title. This film is as much a love story as boxing film and stars Talia Shire as Rocky's partner Adrian Pennino. -
This is an original Japanese Style A poster for a 1969 re-release of Breakfast at Tiffany's in Japan. For many reasons (not least the beauty of both the posters and subject Audrey Hepburn) the film is widely considered to have the most popular cinema posters of any single film. The blues and pinks in this poster are stunning. Based on a novel by Truman Capote, the film epitomises the chic side of New York City through Hepburn's distinctive style. Manhattan socialite Golightly must decide between the advances of Paul, a young author who moves into her building, and multiple other rich men who appear in the course of the film.
