An original double-sided cinema poster in near mint condition for the 2008 film The Dark Knight. This poster is probably the most desirable poster produced for the trilogy of Batman movies directed by Christopher Nolan. No actor has captured the rebel spirt and menace required for a Batman 'bad guy' quite like Heath Ledger?s Joker. In this poster Joker appears to be standing behind a glass screen on which he has written the hugely memorable line 'Why So Serious?' in blood. It is an outstanding image which looks even more brilliant when seen up close. There are many fakes of this poster circulating. The reproductions are double-sided (as one would expect from an original poster), however the dimensions of the fakes are slightly smaller, the paper is less glossy and the colour's are not as deep. In short the quality of an original, such as the one we have on offer, are much better and of course more valuable. This is an original US poster from the first release of the famous shark horror film Jaws. The portrait format of the US posters lends itself particularly well to the famous Jaws artwork and the fact this is also a country of origin makes this a highly desirable poster. Jaws is a hugely important film as it's considered to be the first summer blockbuster. Steven Spielberg's film is also the first film to earn over $100m USD at the box office. The story revolves around a white shark that terrorises the inhabitants of Amity, a quiet island. The film is based on a novel by Peter Benchley and the artwork from the cover of the novel has been re-used to create one of the most iconic cinema images of all time. This is an original cinema poster for the 1967 film Casino Royale. Robert Feldman acquired the rights for the first Ian Fleming James Bond novel. Rather than making a deal with Bond franchise owner EON Productions, he produced this satire himself. Bond is played by multiple actors, reflected in the tagline Casino Royale is too much for one James Bond, and the movie features many superstars all of whom are listed on the poster. The artwork is by Robert McGinnis and the multi-coloured paisley pattern painted on the girl's body reflects the swinging 60s mood of the time. -

Sorcerers Stone (name used for U.S. cinemas while Philospher's Stone was used in Britain) was the first of the Harry Potter books to be made into a film. As such it introduced Daniel Radcliffe to the world as the boy wizard. This being an advance poster, used to publicise the imminent release of the film series, makes it particularly collectable as it is one of the first Harry Potter cinema posters ever printed. This is an original first release US Half Sheet Poster for the film One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. The film stars Jack Nicholson as McMurphy, who chooses a ward for the mentally unstable to escape prison labour. The film is widely and critically loved and won multiple Oscars. Marlon Brando famously plays the role of Vito Don Corleone, while Al Pacino plays his son Michael Pacino.
