Godfather III is the final film in the epic Goldfather trilogy. The screenplay is written by Mario Puzo, Francis Ford Coppola directs and Al Pacino. Unlike the previous two films, in which the character of Vito Corleone has a huge presence, the action in this film is firmly centered on Michael Corleone (played by Pacino).
