This item will be on display in the Saatchi Gallery, London as part of their 2025 'Flowers – Flora in Contemporary Art and Culture' exhibition which opens in February 2025. It will be delivered framed after the exhibition finishes in May 2025. -

Skiing features prominently in all posters for George Lazenby's single outing as 007, none more so than in this French Grande poster from the films first release. Telly Savalas as Blofeld leads the bad guy chase in this exquisitely coloured coloured artwork by Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy. The tagline 'James Bond est de retour' (James Bond is back) and an almost life size portrayal of 007 in full ski gear would make this an incredible picture for a ski chalet. In the year of the London Olympics where Bond parachutes into Buckingham Palace and meets the Queen, the 50th anniversary of the Bond franchise somewhat plays second fiddle. The traditional gun barrel logo with echoes of the London Underground, a key setting in the movie where Bond confronts villain Silivia (played by Xavier Bardman), form the background for many of the posters for the movie, including this French Grande poster.
