This is an original cinema poster printed for the release of the Empire Strikes Back in Australia. It is one of the most sought-after and rare of all Star Wars posters. The artwork, by Noriyoshi Ohrai, was used on Japanese posters but to the best of our knowledge, this is the only poster the artwork is used on in English-speaking countries. The green-tinged artwork is beautiful and Hans Solo kissing Princess Leah takes centre stage. Unlike in most of the US posters, and to the delight of fans, smuggler-turned Rebel Alliance General, Lando Calrissian has a prominent position in the image. Darth Vadar's helmet looms in the background with the classic 'The Star Wars Saga Continues' borrowed from the graphic designers of the US Poster.
