This is an original quad poster for the 1971 film ‘Under Milk Wood’. ‘Under Milk Wood’ was originally written as radio drama by the famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. The film tells the story of a day in the life of a Welsh fishing called “Llareggub”. Three of the biggest movie stars in the world at the time, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor and Peter O’Toole, star in the film. The distinctive artwork in this UK quad poster is by Arnaldo Putzu.

Unfortunately, this item got damaged in transit to us and has been reduced to 50% of the last copy of this poster we sold. Creasing can be seen along the orange strip at the top of the poster. This could be hidden by the frame mount. Linen backing would likely remove most of the creasing also.

The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.

Mint
A flawless poster that will be in the exact same condition as the day it was printed with no marks or fading.

Near Mint
This poster will be in excellent conditions and if it has a blemish or mark it will be barely noticeable.

Very Fine
A poster that may have more than one very minor flaws, a minor tear or some barely visible signs of restoration. Colour in outstanding condition.

Fine
A fine poster while still very presentable may have some edge damage, show clearer signs of restoration or have multiple nicks to the surface. If a folded poster there may be loss of colour along the folds.

Very Good
An average poster that shows multiple pinholes, tears that are clearly visible or possible tape stains. Colours are still good but the paper may have yellowed.

Good and Below Good
This poster will show serious signs of wear and tears, fading of colours, tear marks and/or noticeable repair work.
