This is an original UK One Sheet Poster for the film The Living Daylights. Timothy Dalton brought a rugged grittiness to the Bond character in a similar way as Daniel Craig did almost 20 years later. The tagline ‘Living on the Edge’ portrays a Bond character under pressure in contrast to the suave sophisticate played Roger Moore. The poster has all the classic Bond ingredients and places Dalton in the centre of the iconic gun-barrel logo we see at the beginning of every movie. The latest Aston Martin v8 model with rocket firing capabilities features continuing the car manufactures ties with the franchise. There is something of an ‘end of an era’ quality about this poster as it was the last major Bond poster to feature painted artwork as computer manipulated cut out images were applied in an effort to bring a more contemporary feel.

Below is a section from that guide:

Mint
A flawless poster that will be in the exact same condition as the day it was printed with no marks or fading.

Near Mint
This poster will be in excellent conditions and if it has a blemish or mark it will be barely noticeable.

Very Fine
A poster that may have more than one very minor flaws, a minor tear or some barely visible signs of restoration. Colour in outstanding condition.

Fine
A fine poster while still very presentable may have some edge damage, show clearer signs of restoration or have multiple nicks to the surface. If a folded poster there may be loss of colour along the folds.

Very Good
An average poster that shows multiple pinholes, tears that are clearly visible or possible tape stains. Colours are still good but the paper may have yellowed.

Good and Below Good
This poster will show serious signs of wear and tears, fading of colours, tear marks and/or noticeable repair work.
