This is an original US One Sheet Poster, in near-mint condition and linen-backed, for the 1985 film The Goonies. Drew Struzan’s art is as loved as the movie itself and features the main characters led by Josh Brolin in a typical scene from the film. The Goonies tells the story of a group of friends who go in pursuit of a pirate’s ship in an effort to save the neighbourhood they live in. The Goonies is a film that continues to attract new fans and followers and this country of origin poster is highly collectible.

The condition of this poster can be best assessed in the 3rd HD image.

The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way.

Below is a section from that guide:

Mint
A flawless poster that will be in the exact same condition as the day it was printed with no marks or fading.

Near Mint
This poster will be in excellent conditions and if it has a blemish or mark it will be barely noticeable.

Very Fine
A poster that may have more than one very minor flaws, a minor tear or some barely visible signs of restoration. Colour in outstanding condition.

Fine
A fine poster while still very presentable may have some edge damage, show clearer signs of restoration or have multiple nicks to the surface. If a folded poster there may be loss of colour along the folds.

Very Good
An average poster that shows multiple pinholes, tears that are clearly visible or possible tape stains. Colours are still good but the paper may have yellowed.

Good and Below Good
This poster will show serious signs of wear and tears, fading of colours, tear marks and/or noticeable repair work.
