If you pack the poster securely we can collect it from the postal address you leave when checking out on a day of your choice. We will return your poster to you framed in a secure box. The one style of framing we offer is the classic way of framing a Movie Poster. This consists of a black wooden frame and a white mount (discussed below). The frame and the mount add about 3 inches to the sides of the poster. Hence if you have a 40 x 30 inch UK Quad, it will be around 46 x 36 inches when mounted and framed.Conservation Framing
Conservation framing has a number of characteristics that protect the poster. Glazing – Glazing can take the form of glass or Perspex. To be considered conservation-grade, a picture’s glazing must be UV resistant. While is always recommended not to hang a poster in direct sunlight, the glazing we offer is at least 93% UV resistant. The glazing we use is Perspex which enables our frames to be safely sent by courier. Perspex is a much lighter material than glass and we feel the appearance of our Perspex glazing is as good as glass. Mount – The mount is the white border you see between the picture and frame. In our minds, a mount improves the appearance of a framed poster but it also provides a conservation function by preventing the glazing from coming into contact with the poster. The mount effectively acts as a buffer. Sealing- if you look at pictures you can see how the frame has been sealed at the back with specialist conservation tape. This prevents vapor, dust, or any unwanted material from getting near the artwork. Materials – Materials use in conservation framing are always non-acidic. This negates the risk of any materials ‘bleeding’ onto the artwork.Custom Framing
Bespoke - With custom Framing the frame and the mount will be made specifically for a poster. This will ensure that the poster perfectly fits with both the frame and the mount. Responsibility – By selecting custom framing one can avoid two (often tricky) tasks involved in framing a movie poster. The avoided tasks are selecting a frame and actually putting the poster into the frame. Selecting an off-the-shelf/out-of-the-box frame can be tricky as there is a huge range of products available on the market. -

This is an original US cinema poster for the James Bond film Octopussy. 1983 was the year 2 Bonds went head to head. Sean Connery starred in his final outing in Never Say Never Again however it was Octopussy which won at the Box Office. The poster features a tuxedo-clad, gun-wielding Roger Moore and the female lead Octopussy played by Maud Adams. Adams's six arms hold a martini glass, straightens Bonds tuxedo, hair and bow tie and also ominously stroke the silencer of his gun and while also point a knife towards the ground. The Acrostar minijet plays a prominent role in the US and the letter "O" in the logo us graciously combined with the tentacles of an octopus. The tagline 'James Bond's all time high!' references the movies title song, sang by Rita Coolidge. The main artwork is by US artist Dan Gotzee and the background scenes are by Italian artist Renato Casaro. The poster is rolled in excellent condition. Lawrence who led Arabian desert tribes into battle with the Turkish army in Aqaba and Damascus during World War I. Peter O'Toole play the title role and Omar Sharif and Anthony Quinn also star. This is a original poster for the first release of You Only Live Twice in the USA. Three styles were produced to promote the release of 'You Only Live Twice' in both Britain and the US. Of the three styles the Style C (Bath Scene) picture is the most popular. The picture has many subtle signs of the year the poster was produced. The image is deliberately risque, reflecting the new 1960s mood of sexual liberation. The tagline emphasises that Sean Connery is the one and only James Bond, perhaps a veiled put-down of Casino Royal, the Bond spoof released that year. The artwork is unmistakably Robert McGinnis while the great children's author and 'Tales of the Unexpected' creator Roald Dahl wrote the screenplay and is named in the poster's credits. Telly Savalas as Blofeld leads the bad guy chase in this exquisitely coloured coloured artwork by Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy. **This image has been trimmed and is 39.5 x 27.5 inches instead of the normal 40 x 30 inches. There is also a tear in the top border that can be seen. However all the artwork reamins in tact. Timothy Dalton brought a rugged grittiness to the Bond character in a similar way as Daniel Craig did almost 20 years later. The tagline 'Living on the Edge' portrays a Bond character under pressure in contrast to the suave sophisticate played Roger Moore. A near-mint original poster, that has been linen-backed, for the James Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only'. The poster, part of what is known as the 'Legs Campaign', is dominated by the legs of a girl holding a crossbow, the signature weapon of the character Melina Havelock. To the left of the main characters, there are divers while helicopters, scramblers, skiers, explosions on luxury yachts, snipers, and car chases make this a Bond poster that has it all. Having gone sci-fi four years earlier with Moonraker, the producers returned to a grittier feel with For Your Eyes Only in 1981. Bond is back in his signature tux but for once 007 is on the undercard. UK Quad Posters in an excellent condition for this film are highly sought after. The unframed image is a higher definition picture that enables condition assessment. It is immaculate and will remain so as long as it is kept in this frame.
