Michael Caine, in one of his iconic roles, plays London gangster Jack Carter who travels north to his hometown of Newcastle to avenge the death of his brother. Arnaldo Putzu produced the stunning artwork for this poster. Its not 100% clear why the artist painted a floral pattern on the actors suit jacket. Perhaps it was an ironic nod to the swinging 60's. In any case, it delivers making this one of the great British film posters from the last 60 years. The poster is linen backed in excellent condition.
