This item will be on display in the Saatchi Gallery, London as part of their 2025 ‘Flowers – Flora in Contemporary Art and Culture’ exhibition which opens in February 2025. It will be delivered framed after the exhibition finishes in May 2025. Michael Caine, in one of his iconic roles, plays London gangster Jack Carter who travels north to his hometown of Newcastle to avenge the death of his brother. Arnaldo Putzu produced the stunning artwork for this poster. Its not 100% clear why the artist painted a floral pattern on the actors suit jacket. Perhaps it was an ironic nod to the swinging 60's. In any case, it delivers making this one of the great British film posters from the last 60 years. The poster is linen backed in excellent condition. -
This is an original cinema poster for the film Get Carter. It was printed in 2022 to mark a British Film Industry re-release of the film. These BFI posters have been notable in recent years for how striking and strong the images have been. They are rare and people come to us requesting us to source another copy after they have sold. This one does have some damage in the bottom left but the worst of it could be covered if framed. This is a rare original and highly coveted withdrawn 'Lucky Strike' poster for the film Pulp Fiction. Few, if any, posters from the last 25 years have a back story quite like this poster. Observe the packet of cigarettes in front of Uma Thurman and you will see they bear a resemblance to a carton of Lucky Strikes. The cigarette manufacturer threatened to sue the film’s producer Miramax unless all copies of the poster were destroyed. The posters got recalled and fewer than 100 copies are thought to survive making this poster highly rare and collectible. High-quality reproductions of the poster are in circulation with 2 noticeable flaws. Firstly, the top of the poster was cropped and the ‘little man’ (white on red background with the appearance of steak marbling) above the black ‘R’ letter was cropped. The second tell of the reproductions is a white speckling on Uma Thurman’s breast. The poster offered for sale here is one of the originals with the little man fully in tact and no speckling. The Tarantino film is, of course, a masterpiece which when coupled with the poster's back story makes it a compelling investment. Furthermore, this poster is in excellent condition, without with only a small crease 2 inches up the left hand side. This is minor stuff however and could be covered if framed. -
Hotter than Bond. Cooler than Bullitt. It takes a serious character to take on 2 crime mobs but suave detective 'Shaft' (played by Richard Roundtree) is that man. The film is famous for many reasons, not least because it is a top-quality detective drama. The soundtrack by Isaac Hayes won an Oscar and the film could have won Best Picture also. The artwork on this UK teaser poster for Quentin Tarantino's eighth film, makes it highly sought after. When a bounty hunter and his captured fugitive are caught in the middle of a snowstorm, they seek refuge at the small lodge and encounter a twisted turn of events there. There are 3 tears in the borders of this poster but they have been repaired with archival tape and we don't think the tears would be apparent if framed. The 3rd image enables the best condition assessment. -

This an original quad poster for the 2011 film - Drive. Totally absorbing and original, violent and romantic, brilliant from start to finish. Surprisingly Drive didn't really feature on the end of decade 'Best Movie' lists, but the prices fetched for this UK quad poster may make it one of the most sought-after movie posters of the last 10 years. It's not hard to see why. Ryan Gosling and a Cadillac dominate while the blue and 'northern lights' like green colours make Los Angeles look beautiful in the same way Michael Mann managed to do in Heat 15 years earlier. There is some surface wear, paper loss and minor staining on the 'E' in the film title. This can be best seen in the 3rd unframed image. Godfather 2 is widely considered the greatest film sequel of all time. Two storylines run through the film, Vito Corleone's (Robert De Niro) arrival in the United States in 1901 and Michael Corleone's (Al Pacino) attempt to expand the family business in the late 1950s. The earlier scenes are set in New York City while the later scenes are filmed at the Corleone family home in Lake Tahoe and a pre-Communist Cuba. This US One Sheet poster is from the films first release and includes the classic Godfather image of the puppeteer pulling strings. The font style has been widely copied by 'The Sopranos' and 'Snoop Dog' amongst others. The folder is in very fine folded condition. Set in L.A. around the time of the Charles Manson murder, the film tells the story of Hollywood star, on the wane, Rick Dalton (Leonardo di Caprio) and his friendship with Clif Booth (played by a show-stealing Brad Pitt). Margot Robbie plays the non-fictional Sharon Tate who was married to the celebrated and notorious film director Roman Polanski. Al Pacino and Kurt Russell also star and feature on this poster. -

The opening scenes of Pulp Fiction are so brilliant that in the space of 10 minutes it re-launched the career of John Travolta and catapulted Samuel L Jackson to stardom.
