Murphy plays 4 different characters in the movie including the lead role of prince Akeem Joffer. Prince Joffer, the crown prince of a fictional African nation, travels to America in the hope of finding his princess. The streets of Queens in New York City are a far Cry from the life the prince previously led. This of course is the basis for much of the comedy in the movie. This is an original poster from the first release of the movie in the US. The artwork by Drew Struzan shows Murphy in giant form standing on a red carpet rolled down Park Avenue in Manhattan. This is an original UK quad poster for a 2010 re release of the 1985 film - Back to the Future. In the film, Marty McFly, played by Michael J Fox, travels back in time by 30 years to the year 1955. He inadvertently stops his parents meeting thereby threatening his very existence. In the movie, time travel is made possible using a DeLorean car built by his friend and scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Marty and Doc must travel Back to the Future to enable his parents to meet, while also evading villain Biff. The DeLorean car, which was made in Belfast, features prominently in all posters for the movie. The instantly recognisable artwork is by Drew Struzan. This rolled poster is in near-mint condition. This unusual poster is an original untrimmed set of Japanese Chirashi Posters print for the first release of the James Bond film Octopussy. Typically, the style of poster you see would have been cut into 8 separate pieces and distributed on counters at Japanese cinemas, hence it is also printed with information about the film on the back. This copy survived the guillotine making it by rare and desirable. As you can see it looks fantastic framed and would it make a real statement piece. It is also in excellent condition which can be best assesed int the unframed image. -
This is an original US Half Sheet Poster for a 1972 re-release of the film 101 Dalmatians. Famous Walt Disney film featuring the character Cruella de Vil and a litter of dalmatian puppies she captures. This poster was never folder but please note there is some minor cracking and a snipe (a piece of tape hiding some release information) in the bottom right. Ford plays Rick Deckard, a burnt-out cop who must hunt down a group of replicants that have escaped from outer space back to earth. The movie has been re-released but this is a guaranteed original poster from the first release. The artist on this classic poster is John Alvin and the artwork is hugely popular with both science fiction and film lovers. This is an original One Sheet Cinema poster for a 1982 re-release of 'The Empire Strikes Back'. This is a particularly rare version of the poster as it features what Star Wars enthusiasts refer to as a teal background (the widely distributed version has a purple background). It was likely printed in as part of a test print run but never distributed to cinemas . Finger in the air, there is probably around a hundred of them in circulation. In truth the exact history of this poster is unknown. The design by Tom features? Darth Vadar, Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and Yoda (in one of his first appearances in an official Star Wars poster). -

This is an Original US One Sheet Poster for the first release of the film Withnail and I. This classic British comedy-drama stars Richard E. Grant and Paul McCann who play two out-of-work actors living in squalid conditions in London. Totally broke they travel to the English countryside to spend a week with their uncle. Between torrential rain and run-ins with the locals, chaos ensues. The gonzo artwork of Ralph Steadman works brilliantly for this poster which was used for the first release of the film in US cinemas. A never folded original poster, for the James Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only'. The poster, part of what is known as the 'Legs Campaign', is dominated by the legs of a girl holding a crossbow, the signature weapon of the character Melina Havelock. To the left of the main characters, there are divers while helicopters, scramblers, skiers, explosions on luxury yachts, snipers, and car chases make this a Bond poster that has it all. Having gone sci-fi four years earlier with Moonraker, the producers returned to a grittier feel with For Your Eyes Only in 1981. Bond is back in his signature tux but for once 007 is on the undercard. The unframed image is a higher definition picture which enables the best condition assessment. -
