This is an original copy of the Plaza print (numbered 67 of 100) by Damian Hirst. It is Diasec-mounted Giclée print on aluminium composite panel and was produced in 2018 in collaboration with the publisher Heni. Plaza is part of a series of 8 Colour Space paintings produced by the artist. They are all named after famous hotels with Claridge's and The Savoy being others in the collection. Plaza combines part of the artist spot paintings which begun in 1986 with the his ‘Spin Paintings’ series, begun in 1994. -
Dr. No is the movie that launched the James Bond phenomenon into the US, and this is the poster that was used to promote it. Bond with a cigarette in one hand and a gun in the other lounges next to 4 seductive women. Small line drawings of scenes from the movie are used. Red and yellow are colours that portray passion while the use of black green and yellow is perhaps a nod to the film's Jamaican setting. You can observe grey smoke coming from Bonds cigarette. In the first run of prints of these posters the smoke was yellow but this was changed in later print runs. Both posters are equally desirable, and this is a special and rare poster. It is in beautiful linen-backed condition. -

This trilogy takes on a much darker tone than many of the previous Batman movies Christian Bale plays the lead role, Michael Caine plays Alfred and Gary Oldman takes on the role of Commissioner Gordon in this brilliant return to form for the franchise. This is an original US Subway Cinema poster for the first release of Thunderball in the United States. Thunderball was the first Bond film poster to feature work by the acclaimed artist Robert McGinnis and this is a special poster. It was first major US or UK film poster to feature Bond in attire other than a tuxedo. Here Bond can be seen in an under water fight scene holding a spear gun. There is an incredible green/blue background and red and black suited divers and corals feature also. Three subway posters that carry the captions 'Look Up', 'Look Out' and 'Look Down' were printed for Thunderball. All 3 posters can be viewed on this site but this image, tops the other two in value, when they come up at auction. Printed 60 years ago this poster was never folded, has now been linen-backed and remains in excellent condition. The colours are immaculate and there are no pinholes or tape and only minor edge wear on the sides. This is an original cinema poster for the 1967 film Casino Royale. Robert Feldman acquired the rights for the first Ian Fleming James Bond novel. Rather than making a deal with Bond franchise owner EON Productions, he produced this satire himself. Bond is played by multiple actors, reflected in the tagline Casino Royale is too much for one James Bond, and the movie features many superstars all of whom are listed on the poster. The artwork is by Robert McGinnis and the multi-coloured paisley pattern painted on the girl's body reflects the swinging 60s mood of the time. -

The film had huge success and created an international audience for other films such as the 36 Chambers of Shaolin (1978).
