The design, and artwork, were produced by Tom Chantrell. This is the style C Star Wars posters, sometimes referred to as the Dirty Dozen poster due to the way the characters line up in the same way. Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2 and C-3PO all feature on this poster. A large image of Darth Vader's helmet looms in the background, a design that was used in many subsequent posters for the franchise. **This image has been trimmed and is 39.5 x 27.5 inches instead of the normal 40 x 30 inches. There is also a tear in the top border that can be seen. However all the artwork reamins in tact. Timothy Dalton brought a rugged grittiness to the Bond character in a similar way as Daniel Craig did almost 20 years later. The tagline 'Living on the Edge' portrays a Bond character under pressure in contrast to the suave sophisticate played Roger Moore. There is something of an 'end of an era' quality about this poster as it was the last Bond UK Quad to feature painted artwork as computer manipulated cut out images were applied in an effort to bring a more contemporary feel.
