This is an original UK quad poster for the 2021 film The French Dispatch. The film revolves around events at the 'Kansas Evening Sun' newspaper. Like many previous Wes Andersons films, The French Dispatch is full of huge stars that clearly wish to work for the director. The ever-present Bill Murray returns while Benicio Del Toro, Moses Rosenthaler, Adrien Brody, Julian Cadazio, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux and Frances McDormand also star. In the film, Marty McFly, played by Michael J Fox, travels back in time by 30 years to the year 1955. He inadvertently stops his parents meeting thereby threatening his very existence. In the movie, time travel is made possible using a DeLorean car built by his friend and scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Marty and Doc must travel Back to the Future to enable his parents to meet, while also evading villain Biff. The DeLorean car, which was made in Belfast, features prominently in all posters for the movie. The instantly recognisable artwork is by Drew Struzan. This rolled poster is in near-mint condition. The real lure of this documentary however, is that its produced and narrated by none other than BANKSY. BANKSY's involvement and style leads the viewer to question throughout if what they're watching is an elaborate hoax, and this makes for a hugely unpredictable and entertaining experience. Considine plays Richard an army veteran who returns to the Derbyshire town of his childhood to find out what has happened to his brother Anthony. Anthony (Toby Kebbell) had become involved with a local drug gang, though due to learning difficulties the gang had made him the butt of their cruelty. Much of the film unfolds with Richard seeking revenge. Doug Bradley plays the leader of the Cenobites a character identified as Pinhead in the later films. The cenobites are a group of sadomasochists that are summoned by a mystical puzzle box. Both lauded and loathed by critics, Melody Maker called this the greatest horror film made in Britain. There is no argument, however, that Barker produced a truly iconic character in Pinhead.
