**This image has been trimmed and is 39.5 x 27.5 inches instead of the normal 40 x 30 inches. There is also a tear in the top border that can be seen. However all the artwork reamins in tact. Timothy Dalton brought a rugged grittiness to the Bond character in a similar way as Daniel Craig did almost 20 years later. The tagline 'Living on the Edge' portrays a Bond character under pressure in contrast to the suave sophisticate played Roger Moore. The poster, part of what is known as the 'Legs Campaign', is dominated by the legs of a girl holding a crossbow, the signature weapon of the character Melina Havelock. Having gone sci-fi four years earlier with Moonraker, the producers returned to a grittier feel with For Your Eyes Only in 1981.
