This is an original 4 foglio poster for a 1970s re-release of You Only Live Twice in Italy. The 'red background' style of this poster is very popular with collectors and we believe there was once? (and may still be a copy) on display at the London Film Museum in Convent Garden. You Only Live Twice is the fifth Eon-produced Bond film. Multiple styles of artwork were used in the film posters with one consistent feature being Sean Connery holding a diving mask and pistol. This is the image you see in the poster but note how Bond has become left handed to accommodate the text on the right hand side. The poster has been linen-backed and the 2nd image gives an idea of the huge scale of the poster. The appearance of this poster is not perfect and we suggest and examination of the the 3rd unframed (HD) image which enables the best condition assessment. -

This is an original 2 Foglio for the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. It was printed for a re-release in the mid to late 70s subsequent to the first release of the film. The poster features artwork showing Roger Moore as Bond and the large golden gun was produced by the artist Robert McGinnis. Unusually for a poster this size it has only a single vertical fold and we believe it would display really well. The black spots in the corners are magnets that have not damaged the poster in any way. -

Robert McGinnis produced the artwork and he gives everything to this poster. We see tarot cards, death gods, voodoo dolls of Bond, sharks, crocodiles, speedboats, county police cars, machine guns, and of course beautiful femmes fatales, Brilliant. As the 50th anniversary of Roger Moores first appearance as Bond approaches original posters for the film are hugely in demand. This Italian poster makes a real statement and has a beautiful vintage appearance both in the artwork and text used. The unframed image is a higher definition picture that enables condition assessment. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way. -
