This is an original Australian daybill poster from the 1988 film Coming to America. Few movies capture the comic genius of Eddie Murphy better than 'Coming to America'. Murphy plays 4 different characters in the movie including the lead role of prince Akeem Joffer. Prince Joffer, the crown prince of a fictional African nation, travels to America in the hope of finding his princess. The streets of Queens in New York City are a far Cry from the life the prince previously led. This of course is the basis for much of the comedy in the movie. -

Written and starring Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa an amateur boxer and money collector from Philadelphia that through sheer luck gets an opportunity to fight for the world title. This film is as much a love story as boxing film and stars Talia Shire as Rocky's partner Adrian Pennino. -
This is an original beautifully colured Australian daybill poster for the 1974 film Bring the Head of Alfredo Garcia. It tells the story of powerful rancher who has two of his henchmen track down Alfredo Garcia after the rancher’s teenage daughter becomes pregnant. The round white/black objects you may see in the corners are magnets, used to photograph the posters. They have not damaged the posters in any way. -

This is an Australian poster for the first release poster of the film Lawrence of Arabia in Australia. It is a lovely example of a stone lithograph print that was used for Australian cinema posters. The poster was originally folded but has been stored flat and the fold lines are barely perceptible. The third unframed HD image enables the best assessment. David Leans epic depicts the story of British army officer T.E. Lawrence who led Arabian desert tribes into battle with the Turkish army in Aqaba and Damascus during World War I. Peter O'Toole plays the title role and Omar Sharif and Anthony Quinn also star. -

Having been 3 years since the previous Bond movie this poster has a new artist in Robert 'Bob' Peak and the artwork has a decidedly darker and mysterious tone than previous Bond campaigns. Anya Amasova the Russian agent, Bond teams up with, has an almost equal emphasis in the poster. The artwork features beneath the sea action and the hold of the villain Stomberg's ship which is being used to conceal hijacked US and Soviet submarines. The artwork on this Australian daybill poster is almost identical to that on the UK and US posters.
