An original double-sided cinema poster in near mint condition for the 2008 film The Dark Knight. This poster is probably the most desirable poster produced for the trilogy of Batman movies directed by Christopher Nolan.

No actor has captured the rebel spirt and menace required for a Batman ‘bad guy’ quite like Heath Ledger?s Joker. In this poster Joker appears to be standing behind a glass screen on which he has written the hugely memorable line ‘Why So Serious?’ in blood. It is an outstanding image which looks even more brilliant when seen up close.

There are many fakes of this poster circulating. The reproductions are double-sided (as one would expect from an original poster), however the dimensions of the fakes are slightly smaller, the paper is less glossy and the colour’s are not as deep. In short the quality of an original, such as the one we have on offer, are much better and of course more valuable.

There is some very minor edge wear on the left hand side of the poster that can be best assessed in the unframed 3rd image. This could be covered if framed and otherwise the poster condition is outstanding.

Mint
A flawless poster that will be in the exact same condition as the day it was printed with no marks or fading.

Near Mint
This poster will be in excellent conditions and if it has a blemish or mark it will be barely noticeable.

Very Fine
A poster that may have more than one very minor flaws, a minor tear or some barely visible signs of restoration. Colour in outstanding condition.

Fine
A fine poster while still very presentable may have some edge damage, show clearer signs of restoration or have multiple nicks to the surface. If a folded poster there may be loss of colour along the folds.

Very Good
An average poster that shows multiple pinholes, tears that are clearly visible or possible tape stains. Colours are still good but the paper may have yellowed.

Good and Below Good
This poster will show serious signs of wear and tears, fading of colours, tear marks and/or noticeable repair work.
